God wants to open the windows of heaven over our lives. But there are things we need to do + guard against
in order for heaven to be open over our lives.

Gen 28: 10 - 17 NOTICE: The house of God is an awesome place. It is powerful, supernatural ... and the Bible
calls it "the gate of heaven."

Now, herein lies a very IMPORTANT TRUTH: Because a gate can open or close, heaven can therefore be
opened or closed over a church + over our lives

Many of us had an encounter in the presence of God as we worshiped

Acts 9: 1- 6 Here, we see the at the apostle Paul had a supernatural encounter with the Lord!

Special encounters with the Lord are not uncommon in the Bible!

-Abraham, Isaac + Jacob all had encounters with God

-David had a special encounter with God when Samuel anointed him at 16.

-Peter, James + John had a supernatural encounter on the Mt of Transfiguration!
